The Mass Apothecary Refund Policy
RETURNS —
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All CBD products that are unopened and in original condition are eligible to be returned for a refund as long as it is within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Some health and personal care items
* Any vape or inhalation products plus any THCa, Delta 8, Delta 9, or similar THC products are not returnable.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 3-7 business days. After a refund is issued, it takes anywhere from 2-21 business days to appear in your account. If a refund is issued by store credit, you will receive that instantly.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, and it has been more than 21 business days since we notified you that the return has been processed, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@massapothecary.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Sezzle – Buy Now, Pay Later (if applicable)
**Orders placed using the payment method, Sezzle, are subject to a 20% fee for returns. Only orders paid with Sezzle have any sort of fee associated with returns. The 20% fee will come off the top of any refunds issued when the original payment was made with Sezzle. ****
If you place an order using Sezzle and cancel it within 19 minutes of placing the order, there is no return fee. However, with Sezzle payments, even if the order has not shipped and you cancel it over 19 minutes after you placed the order, your order cancelation is subject to the same 20% fee.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@massapothecary.com to receive further instructions.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Free gifts/samples
Orders are usually sent with free samples, gifts, or full size products. If you are filing for a return, make sure that if you are told to send the items purchased back that you include any free items that were inclucded with the purchase. If you keep the free items with the order, that is ok, but the cost of the free items will be deducted from your refund and/or credit. Free gifts are free with the purchase, but if returning the initial purchased items then you wouldn’t qualify for the free gifts as you no longer have purchased your order if it is refunded.
Shipping
To return your product, email us at support@massapothecary.com for further instructions.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
**All shipping is non refundable. Any return processed will have the return amount issued minus the cost of the shipping for the original order being sent to the customer.
**If you paid for expedited shipping (Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express) for you original purchase, we do not refund the shipping costs.
